Neil DeGrasse Tyson's "Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey" captures the imagination and fills minds with the wonders of science. Bailey, who was 8 at the time, was watching the documentary series and was most inspired by the fact that everything in the universe is made of stardust... including us!
Bailey began writing and, with the help of her father Douglas, is creating My Name is Stardust, an engaging children's book. They are crafting this story to bring the beauty and wonder of astronomy, evolution, and stardust to your child.
Take a look at the beautiful illustrations! Natalie Malan is a talented artist who brings magic to each page.
I can't wait to share this book with my kids! I love snuggling with my kids right before bed with a book that opens their minds and hearts. I think it is one of the most rewarding parts of parenthood. I can only imagine the looks of wonder in my older daughter's eyes as she hears the words and soaks in the illustrations. I love when she asks questions that I don't know the answer to. I get to look up the answer and we both learn something new!
You can help bring this beautiful book to life by visiting and supporting the Kickstarter page.
